Returns & Refunds
We want you to be genuinely happy with your MintMade order. Because every piece is hand-finished and made to order, please read this page carefully so you know exactly where you stand if something is not right.
Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law
"Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure."
These rights apply no matter what else is written on this page, and nothing here takes them away.
Change of mind
Because our items are made to order, just for you, we are unable to accept change-of-mind returns. Please choose carefully and reach out before ordering if you are unsure about sizing or fit for your slabs or toploaders — we are always happy to help.
This change-of-mind policy does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law if an item is faulty, not of acceptable quality, not as described, or does not match what was shown or promised.
If something is wrong with your order
If your stand arrives faulty, damaged, not as described, or it does not do what we said it would, you are covered by the consumer guarantees above. How we put it right depends on whether the problem is a major failure or a minor one.
Major failures
A failure is major when, for example, the item is significantly different from what was described, would not have been bought by a reasonable person aware of the problem, is unsafe, or cannot easily be fixed within a reasonable time.
For a major failure, the choice is yours — you can choose a refund or a replacement. You may also be entitled to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
Minor failures
For a problem that is not a major failure, we may choose to repair the item within a reasonable time. If we are unable to repair it within a reasonable time, you can then choose a refund or replacement.
Who pays for shipping
Where there is a genuine consumer-guarantee failure:
- We cover the cost of return shipping.
- We refund your original delivery cost as part of putting things right.
You will not be left out of pocket on shipping for a faulty or misdescribed item.
How to start a claim
Starting a claim is simple. Please contact us with:
- Your order number (you can look it up any time via Track your order), and
- Photos clearly showing the problem.
This helps us understand the issue quickly and sort it out for you. Once your return is approved, we will provide our return address privately — please contact us first rather than sending anything back on your own, so we can make sure your claim is handled properly.
We will always work with you fairly and in line with the Australian Consumer Law to make things right.
